Personal Supports

The Office of Learner Affairs offers a variety of personal supports and services to learners. For more information, click on the services and supports listed below:

Personal counseling services for learners.

School absences in the MD Program and requesting a leave of absence in PGME.

Transferring between MD Program academies or PGME residency programs.

Submit an accommodation or accessibility request.

The Office of Learner Affairs (OLA) offers Check Your Pulse (CYP) as an opportunity for medical learners to meet briefly, informally, and confidentially with a Learner Life Specialist (LLS) to discuss how things are going within their program and to review resources available at OLA. Think of it as a “wellness check-in”. The initiative is aimed at learners who have yet to meet with a LLS. 

Breastfeeding rooms, study rooms, shuttles & support for events.
