Temerty Medicine provides a variety of services to facilitate your academic experience. Below is an overview of the available services which you may be eligible for:

Book A Study Space

For MD Program, MD/PhD & Physician Assistant Only

You have access to a quiet study space, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The study space has 40 quiet study carrels, six ASCM rooms, six group study spaces, an open study space and a lunch room. You will need your access card to access the space.

The Study Space is located at 263 McCaul Street on the 5th floor.  Wi-fi is available through the ‘U of T’ network.

Postgraduate Medical Education, Medical Radiation Sciences, Occupational Therapy & Physician Assistant

If you are seeking a family physician please contact Health Care Connect, a service in which a nurse will search for a physician for you.

Register online or by phone at 1-800-445-1822, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Breastfeeding Room

If you would like a quiet place to breastfeed your child, we have a private room on the St. George campus in the Medical Sciences Building (MSB) on the 3rd Floor in room 3273A.

A key is required to access this room (located inside the women's public washroom on the 3rd floor by the elevators). The key to this room can be signed out at the Facilities Management & Space Planning (FM&SP) department, on the 2nd Floor in suite MSB 2356 for either single use or long-term use from Monday to Friday between 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

*If the FM&SP office is closed, an alternative place to sign out a key is from the MD Program reception desk on the 3rd floor in suite MSB 3157. The MD Program office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

Shuttle Tickets

For MD Program & MD/PhD Only

Shuttle tickets are available for MD students travel traveling between the St. George and UTM campus, provided they are for the following:

  • MedSoc meetings
  • Curriculum meetings which are held in Mississauga (Course committees etc.)
  • Co-curricular activities  

Book your tickets and then pick them up tickets at the OLA office. You will need to give at least 24-hours notice. For more information, you can contact OLA at 416-978-2764.

Book Event Spaces

If you have an event in need of a venue, learners may use the linked Event Booking Form to request the use of a no-cost event space on campus. We are happy to help facilitate your request.
